The waterfront, long neglected by Baltimoreans, rapidly became known as the "entertainment zone". Fell's point had become the target for Baltimore's young set and historic preservationists as well.  A  rehabbed building became Bertha's home that the owners still live in today.

Bertha's mussels are legendary, but the extensive menu also offers a variety of seafood entrees.  Sunday brunch available.  Live music featuring blues and jazz bands weekly.
